How ZeroHour Systems handles contact inquiries and data used by its browser apps.
Information you provide
When you use our contact form, you provide your name, email address, organization (if provided), project category, and message. We use this information to review and respond to your inquiry.
Browser app data
In the no-login ColonyShield browser app, hive records are saved in your browser on this site’s address. They are not synchronized to an account or uploaded as app records to the website server. Clearing browser data, changing browsers or devices, or moving to a different site address can make those records unavailable. ColonyShield provides local backup controls.
The no-login EKG Trainer browser app saves course progress, practice answers and history, review reminders, preferences, and first-run tutorial status in this browser. It does not upload learner progress or sync it to an account. You can export or import a local progress backup, or clear saved progress in the app. Clearing browser data or changing browsers, devices, or this site’s address can make progress unavailable unless you restore a backup.
Optional ColonyShield weather
If you turn on live weather in ColonyShield and open Calendar, your browser requests a forecast directly from MET Norway for rounded coordinates of the colony yards you saved. That request shares those coordinates and your IP address with MET Norway. Using the browser’s one-time location shortcut requires your permission; you can also enter yard coordinates manually. The app’s records remain in your browser. Weather is optional, and the calendar and saved records remain usable without it.
How the site works
Our website hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address and request logs to deliver and protect the site. The contact form uses a short-lived rate limit to reduce abuse. We do not sell the information you submit through the form.
Retention and access
Contact inquiries are directed to support@zerohour-systems.com and may be retained for follow-up and recordkeeping. Access is limited to people handling the inquiry. You may request correction or deletion of your inquiry by replying to our response or emailing support@zerohour-systems.com.
Changes
We may update this notice as the website or our practices change. The current version is the one published on this page.
